What we do

3D CFD simulation: internal and external flows, heat transfer, multiphase flows, with Simcenter STAR-CCM+, ANSYS Fluent or Autodesk CFD.
1D network modelling: cooling circuits, water and process networks, hydraulic transients and water hammer, with Simcenter FloMaster.
1D or 2D numerical programming: improving existing codes or developing new calculation tools in Python.
Experimental support: helping set up test rigs, data acquisition, post-processing and analysis of results.
Specifications and technical documents: calculation notes, study reports, justification files.

How a study runs

Scoping: analysis of your need, the available data and the constraints; technical and priced proposal within a week.
Modelling: explicit assumptions, model construction, mesh or network checks, sensitivity studies.
Results: regular progress reviews, intermediate results reviewed with your teams.
Delivery: report, models and usable data; summary presentation and, if you wish, training your teams to take over the models.

Two ways of working

Outsourced, you hand us all or part of the study: we carry it out in our office in Palaiseau, on our licences or yours, with a commitment on deadlines and deliverables. On assignment, a Numersalis engineer joins your design office, on site or remotely, for a defined period. For clients outside France, we work remotely in English.

Internal flows (pipes, valves, pumps, heat exchangers) and external flows (ventilation, aerodynamics), single- or multiphase, with or without heat transfer, steady or transient. From scoping onwards we state what calls for a 1D, 3D or experimental approach.

Both are possible. Working on your licences makes it easier for your teams to take over the models after delivery; we can also run the study on our tools and deliver results and models.

Yes. Numersalis is also a Qualiopi-certified training provider: we offer STAR-CCM+, ANSYS Fluent, Autodesk CFD and FloMaster courses, which can build on the models from your study.
